In my Quiet Time, I am able to read and assimilate God's love letter to me which is His Word- the Bible. I am able to communicate right with Him as I add fasting as a sacrifice to show Him my desperation especially if I miss His presence. I separate myself to a solitary place like Jesus did - Mark 1:35 so as to avoid distraction and be able to soak in Him and He in me like a groom and his bride. All these take spiritual discipline.
